So I went from painting places I’ve seen in travels or frames of films, from speaking from someone else point of view, to find my own voice and finally talk about myself.

It was a really difficult process of trying to come out of my shell, but I also needed to express all that deep sorrow. My work became more introspective and symbolic, sharing my thoughts and emotions with the world.
